Why not? Because there is huge money at stake, as well as gold medals and a winning-at-all-costs mentality when it comes to the home team. Perhaps as parents and fans, we need to stop before cheering for a player accused of using steroids or buying their jersey, and think about what that says not only about our own values, but also the message we are giving our kids. With steroid use on the rise among high school athletes, clearly the message that drugs have no place in sports is not getting across. The temptation to win, earn that scholarship, or make big bucks is quite simply too much.

AAS just like any drug, prescribed or otherwise, can have various effects on each person individually. Yes all of these side effects and more are POSSIBLE, but that doesn't mean they will happen. Which means the people who commented that the guy who wrote this is ignorant are wrong, and the people who said that they hoped it wasn't too late for their kid are wrong. The fact is is that you can see any commercial for any drug on television these days and the side effects are in the hundreds, usually ending in death, and this only applies to a limited number of people. The only truly ignorant statement about AAS would be the myth of roid rage. There was one guy who commented who seemed to have a lot of experience, and I agreed with him on this point. Roid Rage is a myth. However, if you take AAS then happy people are not necessarily happy people, sad sad, angry angry, etc etc. AAS are hormones. If it is not closely regulated you are going to have mood swings, and emotions that you wouldn't normally feel. Just like a woman on her period, pregnancy or menopause (what do you think those are anyway?) when a man OR a woman messes with their hormones, especially with something synthetic, it is going to affect your body and mind. Also, I agree with whoever wrote about doctors not knowing what they are doing. “Doctors are men who prescribe medicines of which they know little, to cure diseases of which they know less, in human beings of whom they know nothing.” Voltaire

Two of my clients suffered their DVR’s being recruited to the Mirai Botnet earlier this year. AVTECH have been unresponsive and as a short-term fix, unexpected ports were configured prevent the devices being compromised. Each compromised device had an IP address applied in the 10.*.*.* range (I can’t remember the actual configuration). The devices went off line and the performance, even at the local console was severely degraded. The problem for my clients is that they require access to these DVR’s as a key business requirement. They haven’t been hacked since the ports were changed but reading further I see that the new variant of this attack no longer requires the admin password to commandeer the device. Does anyone know if it is possible to detect if they have been compromised?

Omar freely states that he plays around with supplements. He’s not that far beyond totally believable. While creatine might not do it, I’ve heard there’s “supplements” that really toe the line and are more like PEDs light. Plus I believe this is his full time job thanks to YouTube et al which is a huge benefit over lifting after work at a real job. If we assume he has perfect proportions for the lifts then he probably represents the natural upper limit with heavy use of supplements that fall into the natural status gray area. I’m pretty sure things like DHEA are banned by WADA but sold like supplements and he may dabble in something in this area.
