When taking Cytomel start slowly since it is very powerful and effective. You should begin with a low dosage and increase slowly and steadily over the next couple of weeks. A good ramp up schedule is to start with 25mcg per day and increase that by 25mcg every 4 days until you get up to 100mcg. Going higher than 100mcg per day is not necessary and may not be safe. Your daily dose should be divided into three smaller individual doses to make the supplement more effective. After about 1 week at 100mcg you should also ramp back down in the same way. Cytomel should not be taken for more than 6 consecutive weeks. After a cycle at least 10 weeks of abstinence should follow to allow the thyroid to return to normal functioning.
